Why does human body lack of enzyme?

Since our body can produce enzyme by its own, why modern people like us now’s a day still lacking of enzyme? Losing of enzyme through our body it self is the main cause of shortage which has close relationship with our eating habits.

According to research, unhealthy diet is one of the main causes for heart disease, cancer, stroke, diabetes and other modern day diseases. These diseases are not common in the past, because people in the past believe that natural and simple lifestyle, healthy diet (more green foods) and have adequate rest can enable people to live longer.

With the development of civilization and the impact of westernization, our lifestyle and eating habits had been changed. We consume more high-fat and high calorie foods that cause the excess and in-balance of nutrients, disorder of digestive system and loss of enzyme in our body. This may lead to backache, shoulder pain, tiredness, loss of appetite and etc. It will eventually turn into diseases if these symptoms are ignored. Cancer, malignant tumor, gastric ulcer and other bacteria infected diseases might derive from this reason.

Beside environmental pollution (air, water and soil), food contamination and sound pollution, lost of enzymes in our body can be due to the following reasons:

  • Aging
  • Unhealthy lifestyle and eating habits, for example: diet without/less vegetables can cause nutritional imbalance.
  • Consume too much over cooked and processed foods. Improper processing and cooking might destroy the enzymes in the foods.
  • Addicted to stimulation and excitatory drinks or foods such as alcohol or caffeine and etc.
  • On long-term medication.
  • Emotional instability and long-term under pressure.
  • Cold, fever or bacterial infection.
  • Obesity, weak immune system, aging or decline of body function.

Hence, we need enzyme to sustain our life. In our daily life, try to avoid medication, processed food and artificial flavorings or additives. Change of eating habits and replenish the intake of enzyme will increase the number of good bacteria in our body to boost up our body’s natural healing ability.

Enzyme vs Health

A person’s health is much depends on the quantity of enzymes in our body. Our immunity become stronger if the inventory of enzymes in our body is high. Therefore, enzyme has been hailed as the source of our health and also the source of life. Here are some of the diseases that might happen if we are lack of certain types of enzymes:

  • Lack of Lipase: Diabetes, Vitamin A deficiency
  • Lack of Amylase: Liver disease, Gastrointestinal disease
  • Lack of Cholinesterase: Acute anemia infectious disease, Malnutrition, Central nervous system symptoms.
  • Lack of Lactate Dehydrogenase (LDH): Myocardial infarction, Acute leukemia, Acute hepatitis
  • Lack of Transglutaminase: Myocardial infarction, Skeletal muscle injury
  • Lack of Creatine phosphokinase: Congestive heart disease
  • Lack of Trypsin: Pancreas disease, Pancreas inflammatory

Why does human body need to replenish enzymes?

According to the research of MD Yoshio Morita, enzyme has 6 fundamental functions to human body:

  • Regulation of body environment:

Enzyme can rid the wastes and acidic substances in human body and maintain the blood pH in slightly alkaline condition. At the same time, promote the ecological balance of the good bacterial in our intestine to enhance the digestive system and strengthen the immunity of human body.
  • Anti Inflammatory:

Inflammation is the complex biological response of vascular tissues to harmful stimuli such as pathogens, damaged cells or irritants. Its symptoms are mostly redness, swelling, heat or pain. In order to maintain the inflammatory respond, white blood cells (leukocyte) in our body will destroy the harmful stimuli that cause the inflammation. Enzyme can enhance the function of white blood cell and promote our blood circulation to heal the inflammation rapidly.
  • Antibacterial:

Actually enzyme itself is an antibacterial substance. Besides, it also can enhance the bactericidal function in white blood cells and promote regeneration of new cells. That’s why enzyme is a useful tool against bacteria’s.
  • Decomposition:

The most important role of enzyme is to decompose and remove the wastes which accumulate in the injuries part or the blood vessels in order to restore its function back to normal. For example, enzyme helps to decompose and remove the harmful material in our gastrointestinal to enhance the absorption and digestion function.
  • Blood purification:

An acidic condition is the hotbed for all kinds of diseases. Bacterial or virus infection, inflammation or cholesterol will cause our blood become more acidic. Therefore, enzymes can help us to kill the pathogen, remove the waste and hazardous substances from our body, and neutralize our blood pH to slightly alkaline to keep us healthy.
  • Accelerate the regeneration of new cell:

The best prescription for treatment of disease is not through medication but is through our immune system. Medication such as antibiotic can only help us to kill the bacteria but it does not help in regeneration of new cells in our body. On the contrary, enzyme can promote the cell metabolism to regenerate new cells to replace the damaged cells.

Different from regular medication, the effects of enzyme is not apparent immediately but takes time. All the effects from the function mentioned above will happen simultaneously. We use enzyme to enhance our body function and immune system to keep diseases at bay.
